Herdade Do Sobroso - Vidigueira

Growing up in a Baixo Alentejo family I was amazed with the quality and how genuine the food was. I could not change a detail. The flavours were in all dishes what I had in memory from the food cooked by my parents and grand parents. The service was amazing Thank you Mário). If you wish to know what real alentejo food tastes like look no further. This is the real thing! I will certainly return to try other recipes and for sure be once again surprised. Thank you

We had a pre-set 3-course menu (no menu card) with local starters and black pork as main course. both really tasty, dessert I have forgotten what exactly it was but I do remember that we liked it as well. Have a few glasses of Sobroso wines with it, and then finish the evening sitting at their chimney, and you will undoubtedly ask yourself why one would ask for more...

We had our Christmas New Year’s dinner as a team at Herdade do Sobroso for the second year in a row and I must say it is only getting better! The food is marvelous and the staff very friendly. We felt at home. Most of our team is from the Alentejo and they absoulutely love to go there to eat and enjoy the place. Far away from the world it undoubtely stays close to our hearts. Wonderfull wines from the property are the perfect complement for a true feast. We had the award winning “Sopa de Cacao” local fish soup stew and we understood why it was ranked first! É a terceira vez que estive neste local e é sem dúvida um dos melhores sítios para comer no Alentejo . A comida já não falando do vinho nunca desilude, o serviço também é sempre obrigado, voltaremos

A refeição foi boa. O espaço e atendimento muito bom.O valor pago desajustado mesmo sabendo que há outras coisas valorizáveis. Não contar com o intervalo de valor mencionado aqui. Então….valor por pessoa vinho e café pago à parte. Para tiras de porco, salada e batata frita…nada de cozinha elaborada, absolutamente corrente, é caro. Havia entradas, queijo fresco com tomate e presunto e o vinho escolhido foi o mais em conta da lista da almoço de duas pessoas! Desajustado comparativamente com outros locais do mesmo nível!Salvou-se a sobremesa que veio com boa apresentação e a única coisa com toque diferente!
