Casa Turnay - Vielha e Mijaran

We have been going to the Vall d'Aran for a long time with my partner, and we had wanted to go to Casa Turnay many times, although it always happened that it was closed. Finally, at the beginning of September, we were able to eat at this magnificent restaurant, and we were delighted. We ordered Aranese stew for starters to share (just one serving was enough and for the main course we had Casa Turnay-style cod and beef entrecôte (simply brutal!! . We ordered homemade desserts that were delicious, and they brought us some bottles of cassis liqueur and walnut liqueur to make shots, a detail that was very appreciated. The treatment of all the staff (especially the waitress who served us was excellent, and the place is super authentic, beautiful and quiet. After trying a number of restaurants in La Vall, without a doubt Casa Turnay becomes part of our Top5! When you go to a restaurant and leave “happy”. This is how you could define my experience at Casa Turnay, the service is impeccable and unbeatable, the place is very cozy. Now for what we came for, the food, some dishes I might give it a second thought but in general the product, preparation and presentation were magnificent. Five stars for a ten star restaurant.
