Cafe - Augarten - Vienna

Just to set the frame: the Augarten is a huge park with a baroque french style garden dating back to the 17th century. In the midst of this garden, you can find the Palais Augarten (now occupied by the famous Viennese Boy's Choir) and next...to it the residence of the Augarten Porcelain Manufactory. In the same building the Cafe Restaurant is located. Enjoy sunny days on the two terraces and the historic scene. And if you are more interested in contemporary history: the 2 towers with antiaircraft artillery from world war 2nd are still visible. So, if you have any choice: take a table in the garden and simply enjoy.

We came in the off-season (November for breakfast so the place was almost empty, but nevertheless the food was very good. We all had peeled soft boiled eggs in a glass with chive bread. I had freshly pressed orange juice (so fresh it was frothy! ....Out the window was the augarten (a park/ garden where dogs were happily playing. Entertainment while we ate.

Nach einen wunderbaren Spaziergang mit den Kids und Freunden noch ein abschließender Nachmittagskaffee mit wunderbaren süßen und würzigen Köstlichkeiten!

War heute das erste Mal zum Frühstücken hier. Ohne vorherige Reservierung bekommt man hier schwer einen Platz, da es einfach traumhaft gut ist. Hier kommen die Leute echt gerne her. Frühstück bis 12 Uhr möglich, tolle Auswahl

Nach einer ziemlichen langen Wartezeit, kam ein so guter Kaiserschmarrn, dass sich das Warten doch gelohnt hat. Das Lokal ist modern eingerichtet und liegt direkt im Augarten. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen tollen Blick auf den Park. Das Personal ist sehr nett, aber ein bisschen überfordert und unkoordiniert.
