Donuteria - Vienna

Also ich muss meinen Vor-Bewertern etwas Wind aus den Segeln nehmen:Wir waren heute dort und haben 2 gefüllte Donuts je 2,95€ bestellt.Die 2,95 sind völlig gerechtfertig da diese Donuts zumindest doppelt so groß sind als in anderen Donutshops.Und mit der Qualität und Geschmack waren wir total zufrieden. Also wir würden uns wieder welche holen.

Habe heute die Donuteria entdeckt und war sehr erfreut über das was ich vorfand, bis ich die Donuts gekostet habe. Für mehr als 5 Euro für zwei Donuts habe ich gefrorene, trockene Donuts bekommen. Ich kaufte ein mit Marillenmarmelade glasiertes und Staubzucker bestreutes ungefülltes Donut und ein Mozart-Donut. Das Marillendonut war ein alter Krapfen (wäre sicher gut gewesen wenn frisch), das Mozart-Donut war ebenfalls staubtrocken und die letzte Donutschicht vor dem Marzipan und das Marzipan selbst waren steinhart und kalt, weil noch gefroren. Soviel für FRISCHE Donuts, leider eine Abzocke ohne gleichen. Ich wollte eigentlich zurückgehen und mein Geld zurückverlangen, aber die junge Verkäuferin hat mir leid getan, die kann nix dafür dass man ihr gesagt hat sie muss diese alten Dinger als frisch verkaufen. Ich hab sie noch gefragt ob die jeden Tag frisch ins Geschäft kommen. Shame on you!

The venue is small and cozy with an open and friendly staff. The counter itself contains several different types of donuts, and we tried different types. with filling and without. All with filling were instant hits and really good. The one...without was ok, but not to our liking. The donuts are fresh and taste newly made, being fluffy and creamy. Coffee here was really good as well. Good donuts on top of attentive service and nice staff makes this a place I gladly would visit again.

So we decided to embark on a trip to Donuteria after reading brilliant things about it in the Lonely Planet guide and also through TA. After about minutes of searching in the lower Stadtpark location I had truly given up, armed only with the...downloaded city on TA I'd had enough. On arriving back to the hotel I decided to check when a newer review from June appears advising the location had changed....WHAT!!! So enough about TA's downloaded city information being out of date and the fact it is nowhere near Stadtpark now. Check their website for accurate details of location! On arrival at around we found there to be quite little choice, surprising really as donuts are the number thing that they sell. That being said we opted for the Mozart and oh my god. It was a huge donut laced with pistachio chocolate icing, almonds and marzipan filling...a work of art! This place is definitely worth stopping off at for a sweet treat, large donuts come in at which really is good given the size and the quality! Deffo check it out....just check their website for location first
