Zum Huth - Im Haus der Musik - Vienna

This was recommended by our Hotel Concierge as a casual dining option with authentic Austrian dishes. Service was friendly and efficient, that was the best aspect of food there. With regard to the atmosphere, the room is sparingly furnished (but not modern) and brightly illuminated, which... makes for a kind of measuring room vibe. The food was spoiled by bad quality cuts of meat and served so quickly, we were in and out of the door in 40 minutes after a duck, main and glass of wine. Efficient and inexpensive, but I felt like dinner was a mechanical exercise to fill your stomach instead of a nice evening out.

On the recommendation of a colleague, I went to Zum Huth for dinner. The place was very busy and a reservation seems advisable. We were lucky to get a table without one. The service was great and the kitchen was excellent. It is what you would expect from typical Viennese cuisine, but also very cheap. The Wiener Schnitzel was excellent and the charming service of the old lady, who had the place, made him a very special and pleasant experience. I definitely recommend the place.

We went to an early dinner without reservation, and we were lucky to find a table for two that were available. we starve, the menu is not long and the service is very fast, so it was for us just perfect timing....and also perfect taste, I would say the fish is especially good. local craft beer also very good. highly recommended

Bedienung hat sehr aufdringlich versucht Prosecco und Wein aufzudraengen. Der viel gepriesene Burger, hat wie gepresstes Babyfood geschmeckt, es wurde nicht gefragt wie man das Fleisch gebraten haben will,, wobei es scheinbar bei dieser undefinierbaren Substanz nicht drauf ankommt und vor allem , wir hatten...den Burger 2 x bestellt, beide Burger kamen total KALT auf den Tisch. Kaltes Broetchen, kaltes Fleisch. Jeder 1 Euro Burger bei McDonalds schmeckt besser. Wir haben fuer 3 Personen 100 Euro bezahlt und das ohne Wein. .. wie gesagt: Teuer und schlecht. Waiter was very pushy to sell prosecco and wine, The famous burger tasted like baby food. They did not even ask if we like well done or medium or rare, but with this substance what should be the meat, it doesnt matter. We orderd 2 burgers and both were served toally cold. cold bun, cold meat. Every 1 Euro McDonalds Burger tastes better. We paid for 3 persons 100 Euro and this without any wine. As I said: expensive and very bad.

We spent a wonderful evening with a cheerful music. we liked it very much. if there is another lukewarm night, you don't want to go home or drive. bus and tram stop near.
