Au Temple Du Pain - Vienne

Best éclairs in Vienne (and I tried several places): fresh, the right texture of the cream, fantastic vanilla flavour AND slightly cheaper than other places.

Wonderful shop in heart of city. Selection of different bread styles, pastries and tartes. All looked of highest quality. Baguette and tarte citron were superb!

Run by former head baker at three -Michelin- star restaurant in Vienne, which is easily noticable in the quality of products. Located in the very centre of historic Vienne, near the ancient ruins of the temple. The variety of artisan breads and baguettes baked in place is big but Bucheron (special mixed flour bread with grains) and baguette grand siegle are absolutely to die for! There is also a wide range of sweets available, from which brioche aux pralines (typical from that region) and tartelette au citron are must-haves.

This artisanal bakery is one of the best in Vienna if it is not the best of all, the breads are excellent crispy and mellow at the same time, as well as the pastries that are exceptional, a feast not to mention all other products that I have not tasted too much but I am in the saliva ahead. Only flat, the waitress doesn't smile too much, but thanks to the products, I'm not careful. Frankly, I hope they will always keep this quality of work. Last review, their goat-black quiches, my favorites are the best I've tasted so far, sincerely. Bravo to the whole team...

A good bakery, with excellent wood bread and a very good corn bread. Good pastries.
