Auberge San Ghjuvani - Viggianello

Certainly the best meal we have had in Corsica. On a wet evening having tired of the tourist fare of Propriano, we drove out less than 10 minutes to this auberge. It would be best to arrive hungry because portions are very generous. Simple setting, warm welcome, the owner speaks excellent English to fully explain the dishes. The quality of the ingredients was superb everything was beautifully cooked.

Local and delicious food, nice staff and lovely place, with gluten free options. I definitely recommend!

Excellent restaurant that gives an authentic taste of Corsican food. Service was a bit slow but the restaurant was full of locals so it is not surprising. Would still recommend nevertheless. Value for money.

We have been here with my wife for a dinner during our stay in Propriano. The restaurant is in a village away from the sea, the view is the beautiful valley and the mountains at a distance. The food was very delicious and it was obvious that they were prepared fresh with care and love. The service was flawless. Our waiter Florian was amazing, friendly and professional, like all other members of the staff. The lady who owns the restaurant and runs the kitchen visited our table twice and she was extremely kind. I recommend this place with absolute confidence.
