Found this restaurant by complete chance on our first night on the Camino Portuguese. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Friendly, welcoming, with good food. What more do you need? They serve their beer in frozen tin mugs. Ice cold and lovely. Their house red wine was really good. At the table they provided a couple of free plates Serrano ham (delicious) and salami. We had the Angus rump and Veal cutlet. Both were delicious. It was a Tuesday night and the place was packed with locals. If you are in the area, try this place out.
This Restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel which was 7 mins walk from the restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and was not that busy. When we sat at the table, without us asking, they brought to us bread, olives, prociutto and butter which we thought was complimentary. We ordered stake and sea bass which was not bad. However when the bill came we have been charged €6 for prociutto and also charged for the olives and other things. This is not acceptable and that's a cheap way of padding the bill. If wasn't for this we would give the restaurant an okay rating. Don't let this happen to you.
