Beira Douro - Vila Nova de Gaia

The location is great. Price is reasonable given the prime location. We didn't expect good quality food since being in the touristy area. It was surprisingly good. We had Francesinha. Please take credit card.

Hard to beat views overlooking the river and porto scenery. I know sometimes when you eat at places like this the food can be disappointing but my partner and I really enjoyed our traditional sandwhich and the salad. The staff were very friendly and quick with service Beer was cold and fresh

Good location but high prices, I can understand. But they completely ruined the Francesinha by not including any sauce and used what appears to be Mexican quesadilla Patties instead of traditional Portuguese ingredients. Sad way to spend only night in Porto.

This place was a great stop after we walked across the top of the bridge from Porto. Marcos…absolutely crushed the service side and made our experience extremely welcoming and fun. Beers are large, wine snd food is delish, service is exceptional

At first he said that he only accepts cash payment, when we asked for the account. We might not have cash with us. We made the payment by appeal. But he never gave an invoice. Of course we get it: IT IS FORCED TO PAY CASH TO ESCAPE TAX.
