Dinner for four with a great view over the river to ribeira glowed at night efficiently, if not too friendly staff, reasonable prices and a decent weinlist, but the real highlight for me was the tripas trip with white beans. and chourico cooked. I guess that may not be everyone tasted, but it was one of the best things I eat all the trip. the menu is long and varied enough to accommodate most taste directions, although my wife reported that the lasagne was unusual. '

The glass building seems like a strange thing, and I would rather have the chairs outside the building, but this cafe/restaurant is a nice place to have either a nice drink or a lunch while the boats along the. douro river. No-nonsense eating and service, right in the case and that is what they can expect from this place in general. it was out to go to the place when it was lunch over the river of porto.

We went twice and left twice without getting anything. There were not many guests, but the waiters ignored us, even we tryed to get their atencion. Several tryed to pay,but had to wait for a long time. After about half an hour we left, same...both times. We will never be back. The one star is only for the view over the Douro

Tonight we dined at this restaurant and loved it. The staff were fantastic, in particular Manuel who went out of his way to make sure we had a great night. The food was delicious, a good sized helping and cooked to perfection. Not overly priced...for such good food and service in a beautiful restaurant overlooking the river and Porto. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area looking for somewhere good to go.
