Restaurante Horta dos Reis

We went for lunch and took the lunch menu, the menu is good value for money, however the desert was very expensive when you compare with the rest. The view is great when the weather is good, it is a nice setting and the food was good. There is outside space where you can eat, wait if you're eating inside or have the kids running around.

Elegant space and exquisite food. Bit pricy for the locals but maybe not so much for most tourists...

This is a very pleasant restaurant for people do quickly lunch and has a lot of space for group dinners. Price is great and food is good. You find a lot of parking space nearby.

Good food, fine wines and a wonderful view from Oporto. It has a delightful garden facing de river. The bus 902 has a stop just in front of the entrance door witch seems an entrance to a manor house.

Having been entertained superbly for lunch, we were not exactly hungry, so, having studied the menu offer, decided that we did not need a desert and took a started and main course. When it came to the bill, we noticed that we had been charged for two menus. Having challenged this,the waiter came back and said that it was cheaper to take two menus, because then the bread, butter and water would not be charged. What wonderful service! How often would you find a restaurant actually saving the customer money rather than charging every cent? By the way, the food was superb and the wine list was extensive and the price was good too! The only sad note was that the restaurant was nearly empty.
