Albergo Linda - Villa collemandina

We had a fantastic meal here and as mentioned by the other reviewers, no menu and no English. We were lucky as one of our party spoke Italian. The pasta is amazing, the anti pasti just kept coming and I don't think I have ever been so full. Recommended

A super place for Sunday lunch, perched at the top of a valley with stunning views . There are no written menus , all dishes are described by the server and you indicate your preference… no English is spoken . The antipasto is served a portion at a time , including fried pollenta with sauces , bread with a variety of toppings, various meats. My next course was cannelloni and was delicious, very tasty and lots of spinach and ricotta filling. Roast pork and potatoes came next the meat was superb but the potatoes a bit of a let down , more like hand cut chips . Gelato , coffee and a half litre of House white wine all for €35 Great food, good service and very busy too , need to book in advance.

Since a few years and according to the seasons, we do not miss to visit Linda ... Each time it is a pure delight: local products of Garfagnana, fresh and seasonal cooked in a simple and respectful way. Thank you, do not change anything! ... maybe some wines from the region would be welcome.

If you are moving but not only) from here to stop here eating is more than recommended, to say that the value for money is excellent would also be reduced; all widely satisfied for location and reception and availability. visiting the garfagnana is a good point of support because the rooms are satisfying, the food is good, parking and very comfortable, and the panorama is what it takes to relax.
