I went today with the family to celebrate Peru's independence Day, Overall was a great experience, the show is outstanding and you are so close to the horses and dancers!!, The food was spot on!! I tried: Aji de Gallina, one of the best I have ever tried!, Cau Cau, Arroz con Pollo, Olluquito, Causa de Pollo, Ceviche, Frijoles, Lomo Saltado, Chupe de Choros, Tallarines Verdes, Picarones, etc. Every single dish was A1. Little details to polish. Some of the buffet trays didn't have a heating source and they got cold pretty quick. The plates were located in between the 2 L shape tables, creating congestion just to get the plates and blocking the food for the people with plates in their hands, plates should be placed on the ends of food tables. When you order drinks or beverages, the wait is a little too long. Empty trays in the buffet took long to be replenished and there were times where no clean plates could be found to get more food. I would definitely come back on a weekday so it's not that busy and I am sure it would be a better experience, place was packed and sold out, great food, amazing show, totally recommended!!!!!
Located in Pachacamac, Dpaso offers a beautiful show with "peruvian paso horses" togheter with "Marinera" dances, since this horses nows how to dance with this ritm. I learned that the final date of the National Championship is always in the third week of april. So, I will go there because I saw the videos and the show is biggest and really magnificent.
I stopped by Dpaso on the 2nd half of my day tour with Pachacamac. I arrived about 1pm and spend about 2 and a half hours enjoying drinks and the buffet, and a few traditional dances in the restaurant. Because I am a horsewoman, I was anxious to see the show which started at 3:30. The horses are beautiful and well cared for, and the dances were very nice. I was disappointed that the show only lasted 10-15 minutes - it was a bit of a long afternoon for such a short show. Other than that, i don't have any complaints - the food was tasty and everyone was very friendly. It's about 30km from the city center (11mi?), so would be good to combine it with the tour of Pachacamac.
Es un restaurante acogedor, recomendado para ir en familia y disfrutar además de la comida el show de bailes típicos y por supuesto el espectáculo de caballos de paso, que es lo que más me encantó.
