Funky Java - Villa Park

Great place. The owner is a really nice guy you can talk to. Atmosphere is cold, with great hospitality. Espresso is smooth with a taste of sweetness. Prices are really cheap. I paid under $3. Overall, I would like to come back here.

That was a fun place!!! Collected with my sibes and mum before we all went home for a week. Honored by the owner and he was brilliant! For 26 years in business and strong!! Anyone who entered knew, so it definitely felt cozy enough to call this cafe a second home for some!!

The best time you have the best variety in TOWN! Dunkin? Why does Funky Java bother with this constantly burned tasting jar, brewed by FAR with more care and precision Starbucks? A crazy long line with crazy prices and constant Out of Stock problems, come here for an adorable latte to power through your morning. I officially made a switch. Neither these chains can be the charm, mood, community and love that this place can. The heart of Villa Park is here. Much more merit and value, trust me!

Larry is the man, the man with the good coffee. I have enjoyed his craft since a young child (cooked hot chocolate). Thanks for keeping your doors open! Long live the funky Java

I cant even put into words how amazing this locally owned business is! I came in before work, very much in need of a good coffee and they sure provided exactly that. I ordered an iced caramel latte and I was so pleased. Although the coffee is the main selling point, the first step you take inside you’re overcome by good vibes. From the astounding artwork hugging the walls all the way to the mellow music playing this place is all around a must go!!! The owner greeted me kindly upon my entrance and gave me a list of all the delicious iced drinks I should consider while I place my order. He then explained to me all the wonderful events they hosted before COVID. Man, I sure wish I came out here when they had the Plain White Tees playing outside and for the car shows they’d host here as well. This is a fine establishment with delicious coffee and an amazing management. I would recommend this place for anyone in the area or anyone who is willing to make the drive for a delicious cup of coffee.
