Feedback gevenThis is definitely one of the better hidden gems I've visited. The food is great, and surprisingly, they're never very busy. It would be a five-star experience, but I’ve been there a few times when the staff had to make multiple trips to the back for supplies, which slows things down. Other than that, it’s really excellent!
The restaurant boasts a fantastic location and has a friendly, attentive staff. I always enjoy coming here. The food is consistently good, and regardless of how busy they are, the staff always has smiles on their faces. The service is impressively quick, too.
--- Turn around! I was warmly welcomed by Jessica (if I remember correctly), who served the customer before me with politeness and efficiency, and then attended to me seamlessly. There were hand sanitizers available near the card reader, but oddly enough, the reader didn’t ask for my signature this time. Overall, I enjoyed my visit much more than I have in the past, and it’s nice to see some of my previous recommendations being implemented—whether or not it’s because I suggested them. On a side note, Marissa is beautiful. Jasmine wasn’t wearing a mask, while Anya had one on but pulled it down. Jasmine momentarily left while making my sandwiches to help another customer, but didn’t wash her hands or change her gloves afterwards. She also touched my bread at the beginning, which shouldn’t be standard practice at Subway. My sandwich was made poorly—there was nothing on it to warrant spraying it down as if there wasn’t enough room for more veggies. Another customer walked in, and Anya offered a lackluster welcome, without a smile or even looking in their direction. Please train your staff better; they could use some re-education. The only reason I choose this location is its proximity to my home, but if the service continues to be subpar, I may reconsider. I love Subway and have fond memories of working at an Ohio location for about two years. I still enjoy Subway sandwiches as they are like comfort food for me, but the service at this location is disappointing. It’s unfortunate that I’m writing this review today because I usually have great experiences here. For example, Jordan was working in the back, but she didn’t acknowledge me as I arrived at the window. After waiting a few minutes and calling out, I received no response. When she did come to the front, she adjusted her mask to cover her nose, which raised concerns about hygiene when handling food such as breadsticks or sauce bottles. The beginning of my order went smoothly, but at the vegetable bar, I asked for green peppers and had to repeat my request twice just to get more than a few strips. When I asked for yellow peppers, she piled on a few instead of giving me a proper portion. I requested onions and also had to ask for more. Why is it so hard to request robust-flavored veggies, while the light-flavored ones are piled on? I didn’t even ask for jalapeños, and there was very little salt and pepper, but a decent amount of sauce. I recommend considering adding a bell or a motion sensor at the entrance to alert employees when customers arrive. Perhaps a discussion about proper hygiene practices would help your staff, although I do appreciate the precautions taken in front of the counter. I understand that the cost of certain vegetables varies, and that items like banana peppers are often stocked in larger quantities. However, yellow peppers have a much stronger flavor than green peppers or even red onions, which should be taken into consideration! Also, while the card reader usually requires signatures, the design made it difficult to use effectively. When I asked for hand sanitizer, Jordan informed me that they only had soap behind the counter, which is not accessible to customers. Why not give customers access to hand sanitizer? --- Feel free to make any adjustments or request further refinements!
