The Main Course, Cold Spring

Wow! So happy I found this place. My husband and I came up from the city to hike yesterday and stopped by here on our way to the trailhead to grab some sandwiches to eat along our hike. Both of our sandwiches were fresh and delicious. When we saw the bakedgoods, we both had to get one and they were incredible. I'm still dreaming about that berry scone. Will definitely be stoppingby here before all of our hikes moving forward. On a side note: you all should make little take away bags/picnic kits forhikers! I loved eating my yummy sandwich with a view at the top and I'm sure others would too!

The food is absolutely wonderful, especially the sandwiches. You don?t expect to find such high-quality gourmet food in a small town.Whenever I have guests for lunch it is my go-to place.

I had slow cooked beef, coleslaw, and a buttered croissant. The quality was average. I've had better ones elsewhere including the croissant. But in a small town where choices are fewer, I do see the importance of this place to the locals.

My husband and I are staying at an Airbnb in Cold Spring for a few weeks and discovered this gem right around the corner. We?ve now been here many times and will continue visiting while we are here. From the outside, it doesn?t look like very much.However, the menu is amazing so don?t let the outside distract you... prices are very reasonable and the staff is great!
