Feedback gevenWe heard about Lotus from some friends and decided to stop by. It looks very nice and formal inside. It lookes like there was a dedicated separate area for maybe small parties. The Gobi Manchurian was sooo good!!! The other dishes were packed with flavor and a nice compliment. The decor was very nice and great for special events. Staff were very friendly and professional.
Ate at Lotus to celebrate a friend's birthday. Everything at Lotus is great. Food, drinks, ambiance, service!!! You will not be disappointed with the your food!
I haven’t been here in a while (probably a month) and I’m having withdrawals lol food is great, ambiance is great, service is great..
My wife Kathleen I have been regular customers for years at Lotus . We had a 6:30 PM Reservation on New Years Eve and the hostess placed us at a table in the furthest SW corner away from most serving activity.That was a first for being regulars we usually are assigned a booth two of which were opened . It was very busy with just two waiters on staff. We waited 25 minutes and didn’t even receive a glass of water.. I observed 4 customers quite awhile after us get seated and in a short time receive drink service requests fro one og the two waiters. But still no one even noticed us. I called to the owner Michael who was walking by our table to point that out. Presuming that we were well known to him as regular customers, he would be able to get some attention. But NO ! He never let me finish my sentence. In a loud voice he glared at me and YELLED: “ BE PATIENT ! “I was shocked at his rude manner and when I tried to point out that the others at the table behind him were just served ahead of us, he snapped “ IF YOU CAN’T WAIT, THEN WE WONT SERVE YOU.” I was embarrassed in front of the other customers without cause. My wife and I put on our coats and walked out while the owner disappeared behind the kitchen doors. To be treated so disrespectfully in front of a host of customers and yelled as though we were errant children by a business owner was totally out of bounds and exceptionally poor customer relations. My attempt to rectify out of turn service By his staff while disregarding ours was certainly justifiable . But this rude owner never gave us that opportunity. Shortly thereafter I learned the two waiters had some internal conflict among themselves as what tables they were responsible for covering. Sadly, ours was one in contention between them. So we were ignored for 25 minutes and on the basis of the owners disrespectful tirade when we tried to point that out we had no other option but to leave.Finally, I have often wondered why there has been a significant turnover of waiters, waitresses, a one loyal female bartender pattern there for years. Now I know why. Michael the owner is a nasty, rude and a pretentious business owner that has no right to treat people the way he does. My wife and I will never dine there again and we will do our best to share our negative experience on New Years Eve with every one of our relatives and friends. Moreover I will report this incident to the Better Business Bureau.James F. Devineturnover there friends.
Food and atmosphere is amazing. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Great for a nice night out.
