Big Mountain Deli Crêperie

Idk if it’s just an off day or something or if the staff was not happy with me because I ordered a little while before close. I work in food service. I get it. But I just drove 6 hours so quite frankly I don’t really care I ordered #44 and my sandwich literally could not hold its own everything fell apart no matter how careful I was trying to pick it up. Just clearly thrown together while the staff was clearly unfocused and inattentive to customers while also topping that all off with an attitude. Making sandwiches isn’t hard, nor is being a good person. Will try again some day

2nd Update: On our annual visit to Lake Placid, we went here twice. The previous review is still good. They have also extended their hours later in the day. I was able to have a delicious crepe for dinner Update:. We just had another delicious meal here. The cost of crepes is up to $12, but still worth it. I believe they added more items. My sausage and cheddar omelette was awesome This is a must visit when you are in Lake Placid. We go every time we are in the area. They have 46 Sandwiches named after the 46 Adirondack High Peaks. In addition they have a wide variety of crepes which are delicious and filling. I have tried 5 different crepes and loved them all. It is a small place inside, with seating for about 30. There is outside seating directly across the street. Expect to spend around $10-12 for a sandwich or crepe. Everything on the menu is well worth the money. Parking: Summer weekends are very busy in LP. Parking anywhere in the village will be a challenge. We left our car at the hotel and walked. It is a very walkable village

This is definitely going to be my new go to place in Lake Placid- it’s perfect if you want something really good without spending so much, which can be hard in Placid! I got the Iroquois Peak, and it was delicious.

It’s not what it used to be. The sandwiches are bland, and the breads are all underbaked.

I remember coming here maybe 8 years ago and fell in love with the breakfast sandwich. Coming back today was a big disappointment. I ordered the heartlake sandwich that comes with eggs, avocado, tomato, cheese and onion. The sandwich had barely any avocado and was a bit soggy as it was not grilled enough. The cheese was also not very melted.. will not be coming back. Big disappointment as this place was really amazing back in the day.
