North Shore Chophouse

Great service for being short handed. Had a good sirloin but would like to see a ribeye for less than $30. Great views of Lake and upgraded decor.

Very nice restaurant. I had the prime rib special, my wife had bbq ribs. Both excellent. Staff was pleasant, perhaps a little overworked.

Food was either too spicy or none whatso ever. Waitress was too hurried and abrupt although she got the food to us she could not wait so we could not get our wants taken care of.

We decided to give this place a 3rd try after the first 2 times we had terrible service and orders mixed up. But it is going from bad to worse, nobody to greet you when you come in so we had to wander around to find someone to seat us. Meals came with salad bar which was blah/messy and the soup was cold. Next the meals came and we had high hopes but the mashed potatoes were COLD, fish was underseasoned and they were out of tarter sauce. Steaks were very overcooked as well....the best item was the grilled cheese kids meal. Lol. Disappointed we spent on low quality food...we will not be back and i wouldn 't recommend it to anyone.

We made a reservation for Friday night, and we were promptly seated upon our arrival. The food was exceptional, and the service was equally impressive. The view of the lake was stunning. We had three teenagers with us, who entertained themselves outside by taking pictures while we waited for our meal. We will definitely dine here again the next time we visit Watertown.
