Naturally, she shared the bottle. A waiter walked by and topped everyone else 's glass, then when it came time for her glass, the bottle was empty. WTH! She was the one who was consuming the wine, not everyone else. It happened so fast that then the waiter asked, Would you like another bottle of wine? She said, No, not at $80 a bottle when I just wanted what was left of the bottle. I ordered something and it came with a hard-boiled egg on it. I 'm allergic to eggs. Why isn 't that on the menu when the ingredients are listed on the menu? It was my birthday. I had placed that one the reservation. Needless to say, they did nothing to recognize it was my birthday. I get better service at the diner, I think I 'll be better off going to a diner so I can save some money and be treated better.
They rushed us to order the food, very noisy ambient, there was a hair in one of the plates we ordered and they even dear aaking us if we want another plate instead of apologise and bring it back without question. Food was ok, overpriced.
The restaurant is mainly for large groups. A table for two is not the best seat in the house. It was very noisy and crowded. I asked for pasta instead of potatoes (it is an Italian restaurant), and they refused.. The hostess was not friendly and I felt like she wanted us to eat quickly so that they could seat other people at our table. She kept looking at us while we were eating. My husband ordered pasta and the sauce was not at all tasty. We will not be returning to Alba's restaurant.
The food is always very good...fish, veal and pasta. White meat chicken is sometimes a little dry. The service also very good and friendly. Highly recommend Alba's Restaurant.
The food is delicious and the service very professional. Place looks well kept and classy. We were there on a Saturday night so it was noisy but we were still able to hear each other.
