Les Marronniers - Villeréal

My wife and I visited this restaurant this evening and ordered the Daube De Boeuf which was very good, very tasty along with two glasses of wine. Unfortunately, having finished our meal we wanted to review the Dessert Menu but despite waiting 30 minutes and waving and calling the young waitress we felt ignored. So 9 out of 10 for the meal but 1 out of 10 for the service. The manageress apologised when we got so fed up and decided to pay and leave but unfortunately the damage was done as far as we were concerned.

Good quick and friendly service. This was our third visit and as ever we went for the lamb shanks, cooked in a garlic and rosemary jus. The lamb fell off the bone and was divine!!! Lovely choice of deserts as well. Consistently good for us :

We have been coming here for 15years. In the last year service has become very poor and food has gone down in quality. This visit it was 30 minutes before our order was taken, not even a drink order. Only 2 waiting staff who were running around shouting attention when delicering food and almost throwing it down in front of you. Don 't think we will, be back. a real shame, this place used to be great.

Local restaurant with a nice terrace. Staff is okay. Not really impressed by the menu, tried several meals and it was good but nothing special. The pizzas however are tasty.

Our family arrived before us so by phone we ordered 2 pizzas, we arrived to find our family had been served and were finishing up their meals. We then all sat for an hour until 14h our lunch break over and time to go back to work) and finally our pizzas arrived. Gallingly no real sense of apology. We were regulars with the previous owner, so sad the new owner is so disorganised and has no manners.
