Bowls Club - Vine Creek

Sometimes good, sometimes terrible, maybe the chef changes. Salad bar very un-appealing doesn't appear to have changed in 5 years. Lunch definitely better than dinner, it's fresher.

Northern Beaches Bistro have lifted the bar with the good food, which is being presented 5 star. Unfortunately Hong Kong Prawns (my favourite along with many others) is off the menu but more new and exciting choices are on. Asian inspired dishes together with western flavour, gives the customer a range to choose from. Had the seafood platter, oysters were fantastic!

I was very disappointed in this place. For a bowls club, the meals were quite expensive. The eating area looked run down and our table was on the verge of collapsing until we fixed the legs ourselves (all the waitress did was say she would put a request in to maintenance). The kids area isn't seperate from the eating area so be prepared to have kids running amongst the tables. Food was average and I won't be back any time soon.

Hubby and I had dinner here and it was one of the most amazing meals we have had. The staff from the receptionist at the front Doo to the staff in the restaurant and fabulous and very friendly. The meals came out in good time. I love the way you could help your self to the salad and the veggies. Great food, great people and fantastic service.

As well as having a normal menu which is good value, the club has $10 meal specials which are excellent value.
