This was my 1st time eating at a Diner in New Jersey. We went on Google and saw the Diner was near our location while driving and decided to give it a Try ! We were seated at a Dirty table. I asked the waitress to clean it and she did. We waited for about 10 minutes then she came back and we ordered drink and then she said someone else would take our order. We waited for about 30 and no one came to take our order. We decided to pay for the drinks and leave. The woman at the Hostess/Register Desk said that we didn't have to pay for the drinks. She even offered to take our order (if I'm not mistaken) we politely declined. I stated I wasn't angry and she replied saying they had a few new hires. Which I understand to an extent. I was really looking forward to eating there because the prices were very good and the menu seemed decent. I'm kind of sad it had to be like that. First off the new girl at the front counter is very rude and unprofessional. Second, I’ve been to this restaurant twice to order takeout. I don’t eat meat. I made this clear to staff that I have not ate meat in years. The first time I ordered my food I found a piece of pork bacon in my home fries. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and came back again and today in my home fries was a piece of ham. It’s pretty evident this diner doesn’t believe in cross contamination in the kitchen. It could be a coincidence . but twice in a row? I think not. I can say the French toast are very good though Service: Take out Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Service: 1
