I want to start by saying that as a truck driver from Texas, I have high expectations for Mexican restaurants, and El Nopal truly impressed me. From the moment I stepped inside, I was welcomed with warm smiles and genuine kindness. A young lady took my order, and she was fantastic. An older gentleman prepared my meal swiftly and with care. I ordered bistec tacos and refried beans, and the food was delicious! The restaurant’s decor was lovely, and it had a very inviting atmosphere. There's nothing quite like enjoying a hot meal in a place where the staff makes you feel at home. I'm puzzled by the negative reviews. To the young lady and the older gentleman who served me today, thank you so much! You both turned my day around. Many blessings to you!

I had an amazing experience at this Mexican restaurant! As a truck driver, I've been to many Mexican eateries, and I can honestly say this one stands out for its incredible decor and delicious food. I tried the mole enchiladas, and they were the best I've ever had. You can tell they really put a lot of effort into the sauce. Highly recommend!

The interior is very charming, and despite being small, the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered steak tacos (bistec) and enchiladas with the red, white, and green sauces—everything was very tasty! Personally, I preferred the green sauce over the red, but that’s just my taste. Overall, the food was delightful, and the BYOB option is definitely a bonus! I will be revisiting soon!
