Garde East - VINEYARD HAVEN

Service was really good. The food, well… not so much. For sure their marketing is better than their cuisine.

This is the second time this summer we have eaten at Garde East. Both times everything wss first-rate. I so enjoued the halibut and bok choy dish that I had it again and recommended it to my friend. The bottle of Vouray was a perfct match. I had asked for my favorite table on the deck. Luckily he weather cooperated. Mina, our waitress from Montenegro was charming and attentive.

Enjoyed meal, nice area overlooking ocean. Out of some wines, but is end of season. Waiter was a bit inexperienced, but nice.

Great dinner. Courteous to the fact I could not navigate steps, so they accommodated me at a ground level table. Service was outstanding as were the drinks and the dinner.

Beautiful view. Wonderful waitstaff. Fabulous crudo appetizer. shrimp cocktail too mushy. Steak was perfect. Pricy but worth it.
