Pep's Bake Shop - Virginia

Becoming a little family tradition to stop here often. Delicious bakery items, and I'm a huge fan of the simple and older-fashioned environment. It's definitely worth going to and supporting!

Among our favorite stops. Pep 's builds upon a 70-year tradition of fresh bakery made daily, including Old World recipes. Locally-owned and operated; friendly, helpful staff. Shop early or order ahead to secure your favorites. One of 2 or 3 muststops for family returning home for summer vacation or the holidays. Highly recommended.

For over 60 years, this bakery has been producing some of the areas best goodies. They are much more than a ?donut shop?. In Texas, an old European bakery like this would be standing room only. Luckily, area residents can enjoy seating availability andplentiful parking. Reasonably priced, this bakery should be on every tourist?s agenda.

I have only tried the doughnuts and some of the sweet treats there. I buy a dozen for co workers once in a while. They get gobbled up pretty quickly. They have ways been fresh, with the correct textures and priced fairly. The variety of choices isgreat. The staff has always been polite. I feel this is one of the best bakeries on the range!!
