Guangdong Taste - Virginia Beach

Our son and daughter-in-law couldn't resist ordering their Peking duck with the accompanying bread again, as this was their second visit. Our meal included a fantastic assortment of dishes, and every single one was flavorful and delicious. None of the food was too salty for our taste. Even though the restaurant was packed (it was Christmas Eve), the wait for our food was just the usual amount of time. I recommend making a reservation on weekends or during busy holiday periods. We saw a line out the door when we arrived, but since we had a reservation, we were seated just minutes after getting there. If you find yourself in the Virginia Beach area, definitely give this place a try!

My wife and I went here for dinner, and we had a fantastic experience! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted promptly and shown to our table, where our drink orders were taken right away. The food was incredible! The selection was extensive, and the buns, filled with that delicious yellow filling, were outstanding—perfectly sweet and savory! It’s an awesome place!

This restaurant will always hold a special place in my heart. The entire experience, from beginning to end, is truly exceptional. The staff is friendly and attentive, the food is delightful, and the extensive menu means my husband and I can’t wait to come back and try something new every time. The prices are reasonable, and the generous portions always leave us excited for leftovers the next day. We enjoyed bringing friends to Guangdong Taste to share dishes at one of the large tables. Even though we are moving out of state soon, we will definitely make it a point to dine there again whenever we return to Virginia Beach.

Food met our expectation, from the soup to appetizers and main dishes. Everything was good. A plus is the spacious set up of tables. It allows for needed social distancing during this pandemic. Service was excellent, food came quick and as ordered.

Oh my God! This place is amazing! I wish I could give it 10 stars! Me and my husband were starving so we ordered a ton of food (had to take leftovers home . My personal favorite were the soup dumplings, but also my squid with XO sauce was cooked to an absolute perfection. Service was attentive and I wish I lived closer I’d be in this establishment weekly :
