Hooters - Virginia Beach

1st when we walked in the door the hostess ignored us after 5 minutes sge came back seated us then after 20 minutes we left. No service whatsoever. I've been to Hooters from Florida to New York and as far west as Texas and thus was the worst service ever. To bad not only lost my food money but I always tip good. So now while on the road all Hooters will be low on my list. Way to go

Service was horrible even though there were only 4 other tables in the whole place. Drinks were not even close and the waitress couldn?t be bothered to come back and check on the table. My jack and coke was clear and tasted like dishwater. Food took 45 mins two people. It would be one star if the food wasn?t good. But, the wings were good once we finally got them, so 2-3 stars max. Which is sad because I used to frequent this restaurant often. Never again.

Service was pretty lousy. 20 min wait for drink order. 10 more min for drinks to arrive. 10 more min to order appetizer. (Kitchen had appetizer out 7 min! Bravo! 15 min to order dinner. Dinner out in 12 min, great work. Had to ask for check. Waitress needs more training. Food was forgettable. Noise level was louder than most concerts. Parking lot is uncomfortably dark. Needless to say we're not returning.

The bartender (savanna or Samantha I believe) set the standard for being truly awful at work. There were five people at the bar and still could not get a drink. She acted like we were bothering her anytime we ordered.

It's the equivalent of a roadside diner. I would only eat here again if it were the only eatery on a long, lonely road trip where the cities are 100s of miles apart. It's not specifically this one that was bad. Hooters just doesn't have good food. Super basic. Just very meh. I could never eat here again and be perfectly happy.
