Pollard's Chicken At London Bridge

Really good huh, generous portions at a reasonable price. had white meat dinner with 2 sides. many free parking, great location.

So much salt in their gizzards is a heart attack waiting to happen. I couldn't even eat, them they're still in the box, very disappointed!!!!!! going to take it back. I love gizzard but I couldn't eat them. I have heart issues as it is. They need to think about the heart.

Normally I don't complain,but being at the London Bridge location in December I ordered the 12 peice chicken.It was amazing!!I referred many friends to this place.The chicken was freshly fried and was damn sure some of the best chicken I've ever had.Fast forward to Januarythe experience was a total turn around.I'm sure it was old chicken that had been laying around for some time,(I received it way to quickly)It was nowhere up to par from the experience the first time.I was highly disappointed.If i wanted old dry chicken with no crisp ,I would've went to KFC.Come on pollards help me keep the faith.

We have been loyal customers at the Pollard's Chicken at the London Bridge Location. We usually order online and the order is accurate. Last night we placed our usual order for pick up. However, when we returned home we noticed the order was incorrect. We called and spoke with the staff and manager to see if we could correct the order. They said no The order would not be corrected. We asked if we could have a refund. They stated no refund We explained that what we ordered online was not what we received. They stated this was a known issue They stated the online orders did not always reflect the actual orders that would be provided to the customers. Substitutions were allowed without disclosure was the information they provided. They stated it was a known issue in Pollard's management and leadership. We could bring our order back, however it would not be corrected nor credited. Management policy. Customer Beware!

This Pollard's Chicken is located at the corner of Great Neck Rd. and Virginia Beach Blvd. It is easiest to get to it from heading west on Virginia Beach Blvd. or south on Great Neck Rd. I have passed this place several times over the years but had never made it in here until then. My first visit here was around midday on December 31, 2021.There was parking available when I came in. However, there was quite a bit of traffic as there is a Starbucks pretty much next to this place and they were extremely busy that day. It can make it difficult at times when it is so busy there at the Starbucks.After taking an outside view of the place, I went inside. It wasn't too busy inside, and since I had looked at the menu online before coming in, I had an idea of what I was looking for. I went up to the counter and they were ready for me to order. I ended up going with the fried chicken with two breasts and two legs. For the sides, I chose the macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes. The cost was similar to other fried chicken joints in the area.A few minutes after ordering and paying, one of the workers let me know that it would be about 15 minutes as they needed to cook some more chicken. Many of the other people waiting were delivery drivers for food delivery apps. Even though I didn't order a drink, they offered a drink cup to me for the wait. It's these little things like that that make things a bit better.After about ten minutes or so, my order was complete, and I was able to pick it up and head home to eat it. After getting home, I opened the box and it looked really good. It had everything I ordered in there. Even though it took a little while to get home, everything was still hot. All of the chicken there was really good, and it was tender and juicy too. The mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese for sides were really good too. The puffs were good as well.Overall, I had a really good experience for my first visit to Pollard's Chicken. I am totally adding them to my list of places I will come back to. Next time, I think I am going to try the roasted chicken. If you're looking for a good, local chicken place, this place definitely fits the bill, and you should definitely cluck (check) them out.
