Rudee's Restaurant And Cabana Bar

A friend recommended this restaurant to me, and it was absolutely fantastic! The staff were exceptional, and the food was delicious. I will definitely be returning.

To make matters worse, two of the potato sides weren't available until 4 PM, while the server claimed they would be ready by 3 PM. And the dinner special wouldn't be available until 5 PM. As for the food itself, the crab cakes were mediocre at best—lacking seasoning and not particularly moist or dry. The burger was acceptable, but it’s a burger, so it's hard to really mess that up. The only positive was the sweet potato fries, which were quite good (but came at an extra charge). Oh, and if you want bread, be prepared to pay for that too. Overall, there were too many restrictions and misleading information. If we had made it to brunch, we would have found out that the Sunday special wasn't even breakfast sliders, but rather some lobster tacos, which also stopped being served at 1:45 PM—not 2 as stated. To our disappointment, we later discovered that we were only 400 feet away from a much better-rated restaurant. Lesson learned!

The broiled seafood combo was overcooked and lacked flavor.

Awesome location and great customer service. Located on Rudee’s Inlet Marina with waterfront views. Rudee’s is one of my go to restaurants. The seafood is delicious! When I dine in the Seafood Combo is my go to meal. I usually eat the Rudee Burger at the Cabana Bar which is fun and relaxing on mild weather days around 70 degrees. Located on Mediterranean Avenue in Virginia Beach. The food is excellent and I often recommend Rudee’s.

Great breakfast, great food and service period! One of the best Rudee inlet spots and who can forget their gluten-free oysters Rockefeller!
