Salvatore's Pizzeria - Virginia Beach

I had booked a reservation for the birthday of my mannes. the restaurant had not our reservation, although it was confirmed by open table. our server was not at all attentive. she said she'd bring us the broth that should come with our meal, but never came back with him. we had to ask another server, one because waited, and only 2 small garlic knots were received when we were almost finished with our meal. she never offered to fill our drinks, and service was overall bad. very disappointed. the food was good, but the service left much to wish.

Something has changed since the year and a half I have been gone from the area. I came here practically every week before I moved out of state and I came back so excited to eat here. The seafood manicotti was not what I remember. There was VERY LITTLE sauce compared to what i was use to having and it was different from the bechamel that use to cover it. The noodles were too thick and under cooked. I bragged about this place to a few friend's but now I'm having to tell them to not bother because of this. The only thing good was the meatball I ordered. This is very disappointing. I honestly hope it was one bad experience but that was really bad.

Ordered a cheese pizza with x4 pineapple, received what I would consider a normal amount of pineapple. Very disappointing to receive no extra toppings since I paid an extra $6 for it and tipped 15%. I complained through their feedback section days ago and have not heard back from them. I am unlikely to order pizza from this location again.

I 've lived here for 7 years, and for the first 4 or so this was hands down the best pizza in Virginia Beach. It was ready fast, hot, and the customer service was excellent and cheerful. However, in the past year or so(? management has changed hands and the quality of food and service has taken a nose dive. This first time I noticed a problem was when I ordered the Chicken Parmesan and found bits of hard plastic IN MY FOOD. But, everyone makes mistakes, I simply told them about the problem and asked for the check. No offer to make another meal or a refund, but I didn 't really want one. I didn 't go back for a while, but then I heard they started doing deliveries! I ordered some of their wings and pizza to give them a second chance. Unfortunately, this would be the last time I ordered anything from them. Both the wings and the pizza arrived cold, but that 's not the worst part. The cheese of the pizza had completely slid off of the pizza, as if it had been carried sideways. When I called to ask for another pizza they told me, How are we supposed to know that you didn 't carry it sideways? I was flabbergasted, and told them I still had the pizza, why would I order one just to not eat and return it and waste my time, etc. Needless to say, I didn 't get any pizza from them, and won 't ever again. They 'd rather call you a liar than offer decent customer service or quality food.

My first time here and I'm very happy! I only have 2 discs of the deluxe pizza, which was delicious with many toppings and a beautiful crispy crust. They also brought me the best garlic knots I've ever made with a very nice in house diving sauce. This place is new and they need support. I highly recommend it!
