It's Just Wings - Visalia

Food was plentiful, especially the fries, but hardly any sauce. Good thing I ordered some on the side, I've had it so many times, always great. This time I wasn't so lucky.

Love love love their boneless parm garlic wings !! So yummy and juicy !! Plus their curly fries are always crispy and flavored one of my favorite places to order FOR SURE !!!

I can only give one star although I really do not feel good even doing that! My mother was a waitress all my 19 years at home. So it 's not as if I don 't know about cooking oils, flavors, odors of food etc. Believe me I do not do this out of any animosity, but I am sorry I had to pay for the food I received. The fries and chicken tasted like they were subjected to rancid oil and my home still has that lingering smell. The apple pie dough was also of a dirty dish cloth sort of taste. It was absolutely cold, flat and hardly had any apples in it. Plus the dough was smooshed-like as if it was not baked entirely. I really dislike giving a bad review but there is nothing appealing about the order of boneless garlic/parm wings nor the apple pie. I need Fabreze as the odor left in my home is quite nauseating. Maybe they were just having a bad night! I won 't go back to ascertain whether or not that is the case though.

First of all: I always keep it positive… look at my other reviews. If you want traditional, bone in, hot wings, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Here’s my only positive spin on the possibility of my food being as bad as it was… When I was 20 years old I was working at Weinerscnitzel and my Mom died. Working the week after that, I wasn’t really concerned about what people thought of their chili dogs. Well, maybe the cook’s Mom at “It’s Just Wings” just died too. I really hope that is not the case. But, it happened to me. Maybe the kitchen was having a really tough night? Maybe they were swamped with orders so they just threw my wings in a box with a bunch of sauce in the bottom of the tray making my fries completely soggy and my chicken totally sauceless. I’m willing to entertain that they just had a bad night. But I’m not paying another $15 to find out.

I ordered wings and curly fries to enjoy while I watch the game and it arrived perfectly on time. I couldn’t figure out what the funny taste was I though it was the ranch but I tried fries by itself and it was the fries as well. Also the chicken had an after taste. I am not picky and i hardly ever post reviews. But I decided to post in hopes that they see this and do something about it.
