The calamari lacked a little in taste and was a little bit too oily and I was expecting the sauce to be a little more unique but it was just simple mayonnaise. My favorites were gyoza and the curry udon soup, very fresh and tasty. The servers were very polite and willing to give you more details about the menu.
As a Japanese native, I can attest to the authenticity of the home-style Japanese cuisine served at this restaurant. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere also contribute to an enjoyable dining experience. I ate a lot, but I only took pictures of sweets!
Went to this restaurant due to the big amount of good reviews. Honestly, I wasn’t really impressed. The location is nice and the service was really good. However, what has displeased me is the ratio food-price. You pay more than the offered quantity and quality. The dishes were okay, nothing outstanding and impressive. I am also not a big fan of Japanese food, so this might have played a big role in the liking part. I honestly think people should try out this restaurant for the authentic part (the people that were serving us were wearing Kimonos and the restaurant’s design was very Japanese inspired), but I don’t really know if, at least for me, this was an experience that must be repeated.
The food here is incomparable to anything else I've eaten. They take Japanese home dining to another level. While it may be a bit more expensive than other places, their food is absolutely delicious, maybe because the owner is a native and brings their recipes straight from the source.
The food was okay, but not as good as expected (heard that the food was delicious from a friend). The waiters were friendly and the service was good however the food portions were small and it wasn’t worth the price. The pork ramen was good, and I liked the atmosphere!
