Nice people, great home style cooking. Big breakfasts and lunches. Highly recommend.

First visit, had the chicken fried steak, home fried potatoes, and eggs over easy with sourdough toast. Steak and gravy were delicious, as were the potatoes. Portions were large; couldn't finish all the potatoes and toast. Want to go back for liver and onions soon!

Opens at 6:30, which seems to be a half hour earlier than other breakfast slots in my area. Service was great. Wish I knew the server 's name. Red hair. Was there on Monday morning at opening. Even the kitchen staff seemed to be happy to be there. The country fried steak was great. The crispiness is off the charts, even after being slathered in sausage gravy. I dunno how they did it. Gravy was pretty good but not like, slap your mama good. Biscuits were fresh but packed the firmness and body that I associate with good biscuits. They were soft and somewhat fluffy, but not airy enough to really bring it all the way home. Hash Browns were perfectly good. They leave you to add your own salt which is refreshing and smart.

Great food, great service and very clean. If your looking for a hearty, home cooked meal, this is the place to go. Their menu is extensive and offers something for everyone ? definitely recommend.
