Sonic Drive-in - Vista

I waited TWO+ hours for food. Me and another car were so annoyed with this service. Shaking my head! Arrived at 10:30, left at 12:50. San Marcos is definitely cleaner and faster with their service.

We get some lunch and order a chili cheese hotdog combo the girl tells us they don’t do combos even though the menu says “ complete your meal “ . Who is training their employees? After every item the same girl said “ anything else”. It creates a rushed environment for the customers and ultimately reduces sales. Ridiculous. Took forever mediocre food. Get your s$&t together! In the end wrong order no dipping sauces. This store needs a good manager. It is lacking.

Visiting area from out of town. This location looks to be in a nice spot. My family sat at the outdoor tables. While waiting a homeless male was digging through the trash and asking for money from the drive through. We got served our food and dude started to hover towards us. I had to do some enforcement on him because Sonic sure wasn't going to help. Fortunately for him he promptly left after I let him know what was going to happen to him if he didn't stop begging while me and my kids ate our lunch. He was very high, had a pen in his hand that he was fidgeting with non stop. Sonic needs to provide a secure environment or people won't come for the below average food.

You can wait for half an hour to get the simplest thing

Double bacon cheese burger combo with Jalapeño poppers is all I need.
