So full disclosure: I haven?t been here since their old location. But it?s one of the places that I reminisce about with many family members after we moved away. Like, when we think of the best sandwich we?ve ever had, most of us say Vista?s Icebox. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. Fresh avocado, crunchy sprouts, cucumbers, quality turkey, and the softest fresh bread ever? And looking at the reviews and pictures, it looks like it?s still the same quality experience and ingredients that I remember. If you want your money?s worth, and to feel good about supporting a family owned local business, you?ll go to Vista?s Icebox. You want a sandwich experience that will leave you thinking about it ten, twenty years later? Vista?s Icebox. Can?t even believe I moved away from this place. I need to fly back!

Family owned, friendly service. Love all their sandwiches. Lots of choices and very filling. Squaw bread is my favorite!

Great service, even better sandwiches, and the best value! They go above and beyond on all facets, from knowing your regular order to making a great sandwich every time! Highly recommend!

I love their sandwiches here! Almost every morning, I just go for my usual Ham and Cheese on toasted Sourdough bread. They also have different flavors of lemonade that you should try, especially the Coconut Lavender one. Overall, I would recommend this sandwich place!

TRULY A DIAMOND IN THE RUFF! One of best sandwich places in all of Vista and Carlsbad. I always look for the corn chowder and CA Split when I come to eat here ?? If your a fan of spice this place is for YOU. Best hot sauce selection in the county! And of course they keep the building at a nice 62 degrees to keep you nice and comfortable ?. I love the owner of this place and glad to see him thriving.
