This is pear ice cream not sorbet. It has little lumps of pear in it. I make ice cream, I know its a faff, and fruit can be tricky. But this works really well.. The pear flavour comes through as combination of preserved pear and fresh pear, intense but smooth. I'm surprised, but this in now my favourite ice cream. Also tried the pistachio and vanilla. All really top rung. You want to spoil someone? This is the way to do it..

We have made a trip from Umbria to Tuscany and with difference is the best artisanal ice cream I have ever tasted. I ordered a cone with lemon flavor ice cream and fruit from the forest, the girl who attended us was super friendly and told us they make them with a high percentage of fruit in this case. The result was surprising, I wish I could have this ice cream shop near home in Spain. ..

No doubt the best ice cream I've ever eaten.. .
