There are in the grunde 3 reasons why they should go to this restaurant: 1. a truly stunning view of the Tuscan hills from the terrace 2. the owners put their heart and their soul in every detail of the restaurant 3. not least the food is great and the menu is filled with local specialties we had 2 incredible nights here in the week we were in volterra and from we were in two.

If they stay in this opposite, this is one of the restaurants they need to enjoy! it is the first meal we book when we come to volterra annually. when in summer season, the terrace offers them the most stunning sunset they can imagine. The restaurant's interior is authentic toskana, so tasteful and cozy. the wine...Katuiscia is a sommelier. so every bottle of wine will be good. she is so fair with her pricing, and we just ask her to choose everyone we should order. she's never wrong! eating. everything is amazing. personal favorites. ravioli with spinach, ricotta and then with truffles. followed by bark steak with peeled truffle and roasted vegetables. after 3 years and dozens of meals here. we look forward to each time we return. the service of the entire team is amazing, mama maria in the kitchen is incredible. when they are on the way in the summer/end. book a table and enjoy the terrace. luigi always plays a great music and the intention will take her breath away. do not wait until we return in september!

All very good, from appetizer to dessert. only small flaw, after a lunch of people from € per head, the bitter could offer instead to ask us euro per head.a later!
