I would not recommend this restaurant. The food was overpriced and of poor quality. We ordered clam strips, fried shrimp, coconut shrimp, and calamari, but everything was overcooked and chewy. The coleslaw was too vinegary and the cocktail sauce was too strong. The prices were high and the fish was flavorless and greasy. We will not be returning. We should have gone to Blue Claw in Burlington instead. Lesson learned.
I would have rather gone to a diner if I wanted to spend $41 on the disappointing food I received from this restaurant. It was our first and last time dining here. I had hoped for a pound of coconut shrimp, a pound of fried shrimp, and a pound of clams. Unfortunately, they only offered these items in dinner portions or as appetizers. We ended up ordering a mussel strip dinner, a fried shrimp dinner, coconut shrimp appetizer, and fried calamari appetizer. Everything was subpar - the fried items were greasy and chewy, the coleslaw was overly vinegary, and the cocktail sauce lacked flavor. The prices were outrageous but the only decent dish was the fish. We will not be returning. I have heard good things about Blue Claw in Burlington, so we will be visiting there next time.
