Big up the Polish waiters team at the restaurant, great café in the building next to the hotel and astounding views. Thus place made us resign of one of the nights booked in Bergen and literally forced us to go up North and see some more amazing natural views in the area. Highly recommended. Please add a pool area and it will rock it even more
A good standard hotel Ok beds and shower, no shoe horn. nice staff. The resturant did not meet my standards When it comes to the lamb shank The meat was very tender But tasteless and it was barely any sauce Served with baked vegetables That also did not impress me. For the desert i had brown cheese creme brulë with rabarbra jam and rasberry icecram wich was a nice new thing to taste, but not a wow experience. The wine was good. The rooms also have ventilation that is important.
One of the best ski resorts in Norway with fantastic views. In a very close proximity to Bergen, so if You are visiting Bergen in winter, Myrkdalen is a must visit place!
I 'm sure this is a great resort during the ski season, but as it 's summer it is not up to par. We booked a 2 bedroom suite (since we had two couples) which turned out to be a 3 bedroom apartment. Two bedrooms only contained bunkbeds and the third bedroom had a double bed that requires entrance from two doors to get to each side of the bed. You had to bring your linens to the lobby upon checkout. It was a fine stay for one night, but can 't imagine more.
We visit them in Feb 2022, the staff was really friendly and room was good enough for a family of 3, but the food options are not many, at lunch time there is only one restaurant available with small menu options what means we have to repeat the same food few times in our holidays.
