I've been coming here for 21 years, and I’m 33 now. The friendly, classic vibe remains unchanged. It's a lovely, peaceful spot during the day, and when there’s sports on, the atmosphere is even better. The staff is wonderful, always making sure you have a drink in hand and a smile on your face.
This place serves the best pickle shots in McLennan County! The atmosphere is super fun, and the fellow patrons are incredibly entertaining. Definitely a must-visit!
Zwas back to friends homr, where stay looking for tankstelle
This is a very nice privately owned bar to go to. Joey runs a very comfortable place that anybody can go to rich, poor, or just in between.I love the fact that I didn't have to listen to rap music every time a song was playing on the jukebox. The bathrooms were very clean and the price for beer and mixed drinks was absolutely excellent and affordable. one of the customers in the bar was being extremely loud and obnoxious and was cursing at the other customers. rather than make a loud seen the bartender talked to the customer very quietly and very quickly. The customer immediately left with his dignity intact even though he was a jackass. I'm really glad there's a well-run place like this still around. Here is too many more years of Ash's cocktails. I took my aunt and uncle here, they are from Los Angeles. they told me so many of the bars in that town or nothing but commercial overly priced hangouts for the rich. They wished they had a bar like this in that city for the Everyman not just the rich!!
