Food takes an hour to get served and the naan was somehow cold when it finally came out. It blows my mind how people think the food here is edible. Don’t waste your time with this place. It’s a joke.Edit: The restaurant responded calling my review fake because I posted this while they are temporarily closed, so let me clarify that I ate here a year ago and decided to leave a review after trying other Indian places in Waco. The maturity of the restaurant management really shows when they start their response with Hate to tell you and proceeds to call a bad review fake.
Stopped to eat on my lunch break. Service was slow, which I get, there were only 2 employees working. However, food wasn’t very good. I ordered mild and it was extremely spicy. I also asked to sub the naan bread for veggies (can’t eat gluten) and was charged $2.00 for a few raw carrots, onions and a tiny piece of pepper. Super disappointing. Not interested in returning to eat.
I’ve eaten here twice already (through Uber eats) and each time has just be been better than the last! I missed authentic Indian food and the wait is completely worth it. Everything always tastes fresh and homemade and the tikki masala with chicken is sooo good! I love dipping the garlic naan in the sauce as well. I just ordered again as I’m doing this review lol
First time here, definitely not the last. The food was absolutely wonderful. The samosas were spiced wonderfully, my wife got the butter chicken and loved it, I had the biryam special and would order again instantly. The open kitchen is really cool and we loved watching the Naan being made.
The food was super delicious and worth the wait. The owner is knowledgeable and friendly. People complaining about wait times should go try fast food. This is home cooked, hot, and fresh authentic food!! Highly recommended!!
