It took nearly 10 minutes for them to receive their two cinnamon rolls, and another customer had to inquire about their single burger order which had been delayed for almost 15 minutes.
My experience at the Hwy 340 Hwy 84 location was less than satisfactory. After waiting for 45 minutes for my curbside order, I was told it wasn't ready. When I requested a refund, Manager Kathleen was unable to process it for an order placed through the Whataburger app. The drinks we received were incorrect, the food was cold and soggy, the Texas toast was limp, and the fries were hard and cold. To make matters worse, the employees were laughing at customers who complained. Despite the drive-thru not being busy, the service was extremely poor. It's concerning that they were serving old and cold food, and a worker even mentioned that the chili and ranch at this location were expired. I have contacted customer service for a refund, but my main concern is the potential health hazards posed by this location. It is clear that there are issues with leadership and employee attitudes towards customer service at this establishment. I urge health inspectors to investigate this location thoroughly.
Drive-thru service at this restaurant was disappointing. The employee taking our order was more focused on joking around with her coworkers than paying attention to our order. When we received our food, everything was wrong - from the drinks to the burgers being the opposite of what we ordered, to the ice-cold fries. We asked for some spicy ketchup and were given only one packet after a big sigh, and when we requested another, we were told no. This experience happened close to midnight after I had just been discharged from the hospital, so we were eager to get home. It wasn't until we got home that we realized the extent of the mistakes in our order. Overall, the atmosphere at this location seemed more like playtime than a focus on providing quality food and service. Additionally, the shake machine was reportedly broken. We were not impressed or amused with our experience.
If you want a great Texas Whataburger experience, I suggest you visit here if you are in or near Waco. The customer service was great! The cashier had a great attitude and was very helpful and efficient. There were a nice amount of people there, and theyhandled everyone so professionally and got them their food very quickly. I was very pleased because my food was fresh, hot, andmade exactly the way I asked. Thank you to the cashier who helped me, and 5 Stars to all of the workers. Keep up the great work!I will be back there to visit when I make it back down there. Thank y'all Whataburger :-D
The service wasn't that great. They were too busy trying to take orders instead of getting the ones they already had taking right. My fries were cold and the wait was long and no one brought that to ur attention they just tool ur order and 35 minslater u got ur food cold..SHOULD BE CALLED WHATAMESS!
