No doubt in search of a small sweet treat, Food and Co. Patisserie seemed the ultimate choice.I chose the divine Raspberry and Crème Brulée petit gateau, adorned with little macarons and delectable chocolate pieces. The treat was lovely, with perfect raspberry flavour, and smooth crème, with a special Food and Co twist of what appeared to be a piece of brown or auburn hair embedded. (I may add for future reference here that this colour is vastly different from my own black)Now, I do not claim to be any sort of maestro in the art of food, but I may admit that the piece of hair was slightly unorthodox in terms of ingredients. While I do commend the treat itself and the choice of shampoo, I perhaps in the future will visit a more traditional shop with your standard raspberry and crème brulée petit gateau, rather than this revolutionary dessert with a somewhat exorbitant price.Nevertheless, I give it 2 stars for its kind service, excellent flavour and deceivingly clean presentation.
We just strolled in unaware of its reputation and strolled out thoroughly satisfied. The food was very tasty , the price was very reasonable and the service was very prompt and friendly. We will be back next time we are in wagga. Thanks guys.
I have visited here three times over the last month. Its the kind of place to go if you want to hear your conversation. The atmosphere is calm and intimate for a good catch up. (I give it yhe three star dementia friendly rating). The crepe recipe is excellent which is why I've ordered them three times. Fillings vary - the apple pie fill was true to its name but not over sweet - 10/10. The vege fill seemed a bit sour and the morroccan chicken nothing standout. The pastries were beckoning me so we tried a choc fudge slice which was dry and made me think it wasn't fresh, maybe that was the recipe though. While I am a fan of slow food, and we had time on all three occasions, it could have been quicker when I considered the volume of patrons and staff each time and the nature of the meals. Up to 20 min for any order. Staff were pleasant and I can't fault their demeanour. We did receive a bowl on one occasion that had a large chip in it. The back corner near the cache back entry smelled of spilled milk on two visits, so a carpet clean might be in order. I will return because I love the ambience. Thanks foodco.
It took about 45 minutes for my friend and I to receive our two toasted sandwiches which were barely toasted and the cheese wasn't even melted. The wait for coffee was also extremely long and I was pretty disappointed to see that the coffee was made in cache - a place I specifically avoid ordering coffee from because it is undrinkable. The only good thing about this establishment was that we chose to sit outside and saw two dogs.
