Advertised on web site all day menu which was better but when I asked for it, it wasn't available. False advertising. At least the cocktails were good but my husbands choice of beer was not available. Oak Room far better. Don't even bother with this restaurant.
This very good restaurant located within the Mantra Pavilion Hotel in Wagga Wagga is well worth a visit - it must be Wagga's finest dining place. I've been twice and the first time could not get a table without a reservation, it was full. This week we booked and had a superb meal. It is modern with great decor (right under that large tent-like structure in Kincaid Street). The menu choices are small but varied and will cater to all tastes - modern Australian comes to mind. The wines are likewise of excellent quality and well priced. Service was first class. Try the duck spring rolls, or the lamb croquettes, the barramundi with Thai salad is superb. Can't wait to return.
My wife and I invited our daughter to the Garden Atrium Restaurant for her birthday. Our order consisted of one eye fillet and two scotch fillet meals with the meat to be cooked medium. When the meals arrived the only steak with a hint of pink was the eye fillet. Possibly because it was a little thicker. The menu stated the scotch fillet steaks were "garlic infused with thyme". We were unable to detect either of these elements. Of the vegetables the only items suitably cooked were the asparagus and the bok choy, the rest were extremely hard. Our meals were not just a one off as the young couple dining beside us also complained and left the restaurant after only eating half their meals. Our waiter was extremely obliging until we mentioned our disappointment with our meals. After this he avoided us.This restaurant advertises fine dining but form our experience it is not presenting fine dining.
The service in the restaurant is excellent and the food fresh and well presented. The menu has a varied selection and there appears to be a very good cellar The décor is a little dated but of no consequence, pleasant atmosphere
Can't fault dinner or the service here as it is consistently good. A bit pricey but very convenient if staying at the hotel.
