Mateos Mexican Grill - Wagon Wheel

This place looks like an episode of kitchen nightmares. We went for breakfast but missed it by 10 minutes. I guess pulling out a couple eggs is too much to ask. I ended up with the carne asada burrito. The most accurate description I could give it would be a can of dog food wrapped in a huge tortilla. Not fresh, tough meat with no seasoning. The wait staff could tell it wasnt good and asked if everything was ok multiple times. The service was great, but the food and interior are terrible. Very dissapointing.

Great place, nice staff, excellent food. Margarita was also tasty. Little too pricy for my blood though. Parking: Located behind the building, not many spaces.

Been eating there for about 18 years worked there for 2 years always has been good the service and food is good very affordable for a family of 4

Not sure how there are any 5 start reviews. Ordered two plates. One was bland at best and the other was not eatable at all. I requested to at least have the one plate removed, they said no, all they would do is a 10% discount. I said it would be cheaper than a charge back which I will do if they can't removed the one plate. Still no. So I will be doing a charge back and never go again. I was surprised I did not get sick that night, it was that bad.
