Barrio Cafe - Wahiawā

Amazing! This restaurant offers a fantastic Mexican-inspired dining experience in Oahu! It was my first time visiting after hearing great things from others. The cold horchata coffee was delicious—not too sweet, which I really appreciated because it highlights the flavor without being overly sugary. The regular black coffee was also excellent, featuring a subtle cinnamon note that beautifully complements the brew. The loco moco was tasty and more than enough to satisfy, while also being a healthier option. The vibrant murals on the walls are beautifully painted, and the decor is tastefully Mexican!

I finally got to leave my meal and I couldn’t be happier! I had been wanting to try the churro French toast for a while, so I decided to go for the full order (6 pieces) and I was not disappointed. If you love malasadas, you’ll definitely enjoy this dish. It comes with a delicious dulce de leche dipping sauce. I will definitely be back, and next time I’ll be sure to order some bacon!

The food is absolutely delicious! The chips are made in-house, and the salsa is fantastic. The staff is exceptionally friendly!

I am a texan and I was skeptical to say the least! but the service was great, eating was amazing and the options were great for such a small facility. I really enjoyed the authenticity of this restaurant! they had Mexican coks that made me even happier!

This place is awesome authentic Mexican taste . Everything is good also customer service. Is the first Mexican restaurant that I taste here in Hawaii. I’m Mexican and I know to cook very well .thanks barrio café . I will back again soon
