Mike's Bake Shop - Waianae

Butter rolls are so good! Coconut sales was amazing. Such a sweet little bakery with friendly people.

Love them long johns.... This bakery has been a child since I was, and a few years ago the name changed (from Miles to Mikes). While I have never ordered a cake from them, I have eaten their pastries, especially their long John to long them all week. I have to say that Mike has the best with all the other bakers on the island because her REAL CUSTARD! Napoleons (Zippys), Liliha Bakery, Kilani Bakery and a few well-known others who do not even come close to long Johns! So if you want to come to the west all the way, make it a point to stop there and try one, and then you will know what I'm talking about! Oh, and they also really have butter rolls that are very addictive!

Rainbow birthday cake. My husband, whom I stationed on the mainland after Oahu in June 2011. Our daughter was still a teenager when we moved there, but she is now married and graduated from college this year. Since I couldn't be there for her birthday in February, I had to find a local HI bakery. My daughter her husband loved the rainbow cake! Thanks Mike's Bake Shop!!! Cudes of TN!

Bake shop has been around for centuries on the West Coast of Oahu from Miles Bake shop to Mike's Bake Shop and still delicious donuts and cakes.

Mike's has the best donuts on the West Side! They're always fresh and ready to enjoy first thing in the morning.
