Feedback gevenBeautiful place on the beach for a cocktail and sunset. They are currently a remodel for portions, but enough complete to serve cartridges! The drinks were unfortunately quite weak, but the Medplatte was really good and decent. Service nice. Remodel well done. Live music began around 5, great atmosphere. Prepare to start a line > 15 minutes depending on the night if you want table in the sand. Very popular with all walks of life and age. Enjoy!
My friends had a table of 10 and they got kicked out after two hours. They spent a fortune and was happy with the food and music even it took awhile to be served. They where shocked that the server said that they had to leave. The manger came over and said that it?s policy and asked them to leave. It was a table of ten women between the ages of 62 and 75. Celebrating their youngest sisters birthday. When my friend told me about her experience I couldn?t help but keep apologizing to her for the embarrassment and poor treatment. They have live music and guests tend to spend more time. With a table of ten it takes more time. I would suggest that the restaurant put that into consideration when making these kinds of requirements. She and her family will never go back. Her new favorite discovery is the Thursday entertainment at the Royal Kona Resort. They have famous local musicians every Thursday at the Mai Tai Bar. So, she found a place where they can hangout, have drinks and listen to great Hawaiian music. I hope the Lava Lava Beach Club can figure out a way to manage this without embarrassing their customers.
Amazing steak and ribs dinner!! Enjoyed a beautiful sunset with my family at the end of our meal. Wonderful service and atmosphere. Live music, beachfront dining. This is a one of a kind experience and an absolute must do while in Hawaii.
Back open and better than ever. Service is great and bar is bigger. Bartenders are friendly, fun and ready to pour. Great ambience.
Hawaii is the birthplace of May Tai. You can find it on every cocktail menu. The Mai Tai began as a rum cocktail so popular it allegedly impoverished world rum delivered in the 1940s and 50s.
