Romano's Macaroni Grill Waikoloa

I want to give this place a better review, but I can't. we were there 10 minutes before our reservations, we immediately set ourselves and ordered. it was about an hour before we got our food. we were so tired and hungry and about everything, but this time was closed everywhere and we had no choice when we wanted to eat. Finally, when the food came, it was just a chaos butter and saw and fat. was so disappointed by what I remember this place. I would recommend tommy bahamas restaurant in the same shopping center. about the same price and much better quality.

We were there to celebrate a 60th bday and the service was not existent and eating came cold. the whole meal lasted 2 1/4 hours.

Romano’s is.an average “big box” style restaurant. We were seated on time for our reservation and the restaurant looked to be about 3/4 full. We ordered and then waited just under an hour to be served our food. The food was good and the portions were large. The server was pleasant and responded to any requests quickly. The food was fairly expensive but it’s Hawaii so everything seems expensive compared to the main land. Overall, we would eat here again.

I requested buffalo cheese for the protein topper on a build your own penne. $5 extra. The portion was minuscule, maybe 1 or 2 teaspoons. My companion was served the wrong meal. Chocolate cake dessert was delicious!

Kitty was a great and enthusiastic wait-host-server we always enjoy seeing here there!!!
